After examination by the State Intellectual Property Office, Chifeng Dongli Cashmere Co., Ltd. was officially approved to use the "Chifeng Cashmere" National Geographic indication special mark. Because the color of the logo is red, it is referred to as "red label".

It is understood that in 2017, the municipal government authorized the Chifeng Leading Enterprises Association of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Industrialization to apply to the State Administration for Industry and Commerce for the registration of the "Chifeng Cashmere" geographical indication certification trademark, which was approved for registration in 2018, and in May 2022, the "Chifeng Cashmere" national geographical indication special mark was approved for use. The approved use of this symbol gives the new development connotation of cashmere products, and is of great significance to the utilization and preservation of Chifeng natural resources, cultural resources and geographical heritage, the protection of high-quality characteristic products and the promotion of the development of cashmere industry clusters.
